The Institute has taken up the challenge to be the torch bearer by initiating large scale training approach foe capacity development of PRI representatives. This training intervention is about facilitating PRI members to learn, and then apply this to systematize their local self governance the capacity development programmes of the Institute incorporates the principle of informal environment, and supports active participation of the participants. Issues dealt in the training are related to real life situations and individual experience is given credence. We believe that the learners themselves will take on the role of facilitators in their real life work situations. By sharing this approach with more and more elected representatives, we believe that the spirit of collective action and participation will change the way communities approach to their problems.
