GRIP is an open source application developed to facilitate the Internal Audit of the MGNREGA & PMAY scheme run by Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), GoI. The application has been developed by NIC as per the requirements of Office of Controller General of Accounts, Ministry of Rural Development. The software facilitates both online as well as offline Internal Audit. It also serves the purpose of maintaining the past audit records of the Auditee along with associated list of the Auditors and audit team involved in the audit. It acts as a good tool to enhance the performance of the audited agency. Various audit reports are generated automatically and analytical reports on audit are available online.
Process Flow
- Formation of Audit Team and assigning team to an audit
- Provision of Entry Conference with auditee
- Recording of Audit Observation along with upload of supporting document(s)
- Exit Conference Meeting with auditee
- Approval of Audit Paras at different levels
- Generation of Audit Report and online intimation to Auditee
- Online Response submission by Auditee
- Follow up of Audit observation
- Generation of MIS reports -- state wise, risks wise, severity wise, etc.
